It looks pretty certain that Chelsea boss Frank Lampard will be looking to sign a new striker in the summer. He has repeatedly spoken in public about adding attacking reinforcements to his squad, and was disappointed that a new striker was not added in January after a number of failed pursuits. Current options Olivier Giroud is out of contract in June, and Michy Batshuayi has failed to step up. The burden has been left with Tammy Abraham, now Lampard wants to add some top quality competition for the clubs leading goalscorer. The 22-year old has struggled to hit the ground running since making his big money move to La Liga, and this kind of deal could be something that suits all parties. Jürgen Klopp has sided with  Barcelona  ace Lionel Messi over  Juventus ’s Cristiano Ronaldo in the debate over who the best in the world is. The  Liverpool  manager  was asked , “who is the best: Messi or Ronaldo?” “For me, Messi, but I couldn’t admire Ronaldo more than I do already,” Klopp answered. “We’ve played against both Messi and Ronaldo already, and both are almost impossible to defend. “If you could paint yourself a perfect player, he would have Ronaldo’s height, he could jump as high or run as fast as Ronaldo can. And what is then added to that, is his attitude. It is absolutely perfect and professional, it couldn’t be any better. “And on the other side there is the small Messi, who makes everything look so simple. And therefore I like him maybe a little bit more as a player on the pitch.
