Rodgers confirms Maguire fee agreed with Man Utd

The Leicester City boss has confirmed Friday's news that the two clubs had reached an agreement over the transfer of the England centre-back Leicester City  manager Brendan Rogers says a fee has been agreed with  Manchester United  for the sale of Harry Maguire, but the player has yet to negotiate personal terms with the Red Devils. Rogers was speaking to reporters following his side's pre-season friendly with  Atalanta , and also claims the situation is expected to develop early next week. “There has been contact between the two clubs, a fee has been agreed," he said, "and then it’s a case of Harry having an opportunity to speak to them to see if he can find an agreement on personal terms.

Chelsea in negotiations with Leganes over €7m Omeruo

The Spanish club have made an initial offer of €4.5m, although that is currently short of what the Blues are asking for for the defender Leganes  have made a €4.5 million offer for  Chelsea  defender Kenneth Omeruo, who impressed during a loan spell with the Spanish club last season. The Blues are, however, holding out for €7m (£6m/$8m), with  Celta Vigo having previously been interested prior to their signings of Joseph Aidoo from Genk  and Jorge Saenz on loan from  Valencia . The 25-year-old is keen to depart Stamford Bridge and he has been spending his summer at the  Africa Cup of Nations  with  Nigeria .

A protracted transfer saga has finally reached its end, with the World Cup winner swapping the Spanish capital for Catalunya Barcelona have officially announced the signing of Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid , with the French forward putting pen-to-paper after the Blaugrana paid his full €120m (£107m/$134m) release clause. The former Real Sociedad forward and 2018 World Cup winner has signed at the Camp Nou for the next five seasons through to June 2024 – a contract that includes a buyout clause of €800m. The move has not been without drama, as Atleti recently hit out at both Barca and Griezmann himself for their conduct after it was revealed that the two parties had been in negotiations and reached an agreement in March - a time during which Diego Simeone's side were still fighting in  La Liga and the Champions League .

Juventus confirm Rabiot signing

The midfielder joins the Italian champions on a free transfer after his contract with  Paris Saint-Germain expired, with a medical completed Monday.  Juve did not disclose any details about the France international's deal, but he will be presented to the media on Tuesday.

It’s understood Griezmann has already been in touch with Messi to discuss how they will play with each other next season at the Camp Nou. The lure of Messi was so great that Griezmann rejected the advances of Manchester United, who reportedly made a last-ditch attempt to hijack his move from Atletico Madrid.

PSG are ready to let Neymar go this summer, according to L’Equipe PSG President Nasser Al Khelaifi said on Sunday that the Ligue 1 champions will no longer tolerate superstar attitudes from the club’s biggest players after a 2018-19 campaign full of controversy. "Players will have to be more responsible than before,” Al-Khelaïfi told  France Football. "They will have to do more and work harder. They are not there for their own amusement. If they do not agree, the doors are open - Ciao! "I do not want star behaviour anymore."

Hazard arrives in Madrid, passes his medical

Eden Hazard has landed in Madrid. The Belgian international landed in the Spanish capital on Thursday morning and has passed his medical exams with success at the  Clínica Sanitas de La Moraleja to the north of the city. Once he has signed his new contract with Real Madrid, which will keep him at the club for the next five years, he will be presented at the Bernabéu at 19:00

Romelu Lukaku has seemingly all but confirmed he is leaving Man United for Inter Milan the summer by lavishing praise on their new boss Antonio Conte.
