FA case against FIFA over Chelsea transfer ban to be heard in June

Chelsea were banned from making new signings during last summer's transfer window
The Football Association has taken FIFA to court over Chelsea's transfer ban and their case will be heard next month.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport [CAS] will consider the FA's complaint on June 26 over FIFA's disciplinary processes.
In February last year, Chelsea and the FA were sanctioned for breaches relating to the international transfer and registration of players under the age of 18

With Chelsea looking to strengthen their squad in the summer, the Blues may need to sell some players to raise funds for Frank Lampard's transfer target. The Chelsea squad are still training behind closed doors as they wait for news on when the Premier League season can resume. All matches in England are currently postponed until at least June, with uncertainty over when it will be safe to continue playing fixtures amid the coronavirus pandemic. Frank Lampard reportedly informs board of the striker he wants to sign

It looks pretty certain that Chelsea boss Frank Lampard will be looking to sign a new striker in the summer. He has repeatedly spoken in public about adding attacking reinforcements to his squad, and was disappointed that a new striker was not added in January after a number of failed pursuits. Current options Olivier Giroud is out of contract in June, and Michy Batshuayi has failed to step up. The burden has been left with Tammy Abraham, now Lampard wants to add some top quality competition for the clubs leading goalscorer. According to  SPORT , Lampard has asked the Chelsea board to sign Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic on loan next season. The 22-year old has struggled to hit the ground running since making his big money move to La Liga, and this kind of deal could be something that suits all parties. I am sure we will be hearing more on this pursuit over the coming months.

Jürgen Klopp has sided with  Barcelona  ace Lionel Messi over  Juventus ’s Cristiano Ronaldo in the debate over who the best in the world is. The  Liverpool  manager  was asked , “who is the best: Messi or Ronaldo?” “For me, Messi, but I couldn’t admire Ronaldo more than I do already,” Klopp answered. “We’ve played against both Messi and Ronaldo already, and both are almost impossible to defend. “If you could paint yourself a perfect player, he would have Ronaldo’s height, he could jump as high or run as fast as Ronaldo can.
